I was twelve years old, shopping at Food Lion with my parents. I saw the issue of Ride where Castillo does the icepick grind between the two dirt jumps and my life took a turn for the worst. Soon after I bought a raw Eastern Jane oddly enough. Where do you live now? Mooresville, NC but I'll be moving elsewhere once I am of legal age. What frame are you riding? I'm riding a 20.25" reaper until my 19" sample is ready. Who are some of your favorite riders? People who do skids, ride down stairs, roll under/over stuff, jump high, ride on their front wheel, and wear short shorts. Favorite places to ride? My favorite spots are the roller roofs, the tree ride, behind rugged warehouse spot, uncc only for the curved walls, the real warehouse, and the k site is my new favorite spot. I love riding spots where you can mingle with the townspeople. Favorite music? 90's rap, balkan folk. Favorite Videos? Anything preceeded by a Carson Daly monologue. Favorite sandwich? Knuckle. What gets you really mad? Snakes, mayonnaise, stubble, driving, and mostly getting tickled. What do you think BMX needs more of? Less toejam whips, quarter pipe contests, heel clickers, Pat Juliffs. What makes you really happy? My woman, baths, thrift storing, candy of all varieties, insults, subject/predicates, flannel, vests, shades, gold, Hot N Ready, pancakes, soft grass for picnicking, Carmen SanDiego.
