Tea Time Tour Day 4

Today is the start of NASS, an action sports and music festival. After a three hour drive we got to the venue, introduced the guys to Rob and Andy from Split Second Distro and missed the first practice of street but Kelly and Scott headed on over to the Mini-Mega ramp. They call it the Goliath ramp which makes sense since it's a pretty big ramp. Everyone was making the jump easily but the quarter was slightly over vert and that can make for some tricky airs. Kelly was doing no-handers, flips, no-handed flips and barrel rolls. Scott's first jump was a flip because he's flippin' crazy! He also did some stretched superman seatgrabs.

Now onto the street course. There were a lot of guys practicing so you had to use the hour practice time wisely. Scott, Kelly and Josh did just that. Everyone got use to the box jump rather quickly. That was pretty easy to tell with the 720's, flipwhips, and inverted barrel rolls that were going down by the Eastern Bikes crew. The hour came and went but you could tell that the guys were getting use to the course and figuring out lines. Tomorrow is qualifing for both Mini-Mega and Street. I'll let you know what everything goes. Also if you are at NASS come on over to the BMX Shop booth after Mini-Mega to meet the Eastern Bikes team. Don't be chicken...
