Tea Time Tour Day 3

Today everyone woke after a good nights sleep a little sore but ready to see what awaits at the shops and parks that we were going to today. First stop was Foundation BMX in Crewe. The owner Mike greated us and brought us into his shop. It's been around barely a year and has a good following so far. This BMX only shop had a good deal of what the kids want. After talking with the locals and eating some pizza everyone went to the local BMX Track and skatepark. We arrived at the Shanaze Reade BMX Track and Kelly immediately impressed us with his BMX racing skills by hitting the pro section. This track has some steep lips and landings, it was awesome. Josh, however took a different approach to the track and decided to flair a berm. It was a mellow berm but after some frustrating attempts, he nailed it perfectly and the locals were pumped. Oh yeah there was a park next to the track that we had yet to see. It consisted of a bowl and a street section. We saw a 900 fly out. So good. The session wound down and it was time to head out to the next stop.

The next stop was AlphaBMX in Stoke-on-Trent. This was another BMX only shop that was packed full of anything you could think of for your twenty inch. Al was a great host and even fixed a few spokes in Josh's wheel. Once the wheel was trued and rolling straight we followed Al to the local park a few miles from his shop. The park was a huge street style plaza and had a nice bowl in the back of it. We started in the bowl and saw Kelly getting upside down and inverting his bike with ease all while getting the kids pumped. After our fill of the bowl everyone hit the street plaza. That session wound down some so Scott decided to do an ole' fashion sticker and hat toss in the bowl. It was so great to see everyone having a blast and smiling just because we ride these little BMX bikes for fun. It was time to say goodbye and go get some rest. Both Mike and Al have great shops that support an incredible local scene, so stop in and show them some love. Tomorrow NASS starts. Make it out if you can because from what I hear it's a great time.

Foundation BMX
This is Foundation BMX. The guy in the middle is the owner, Mike. The guy in the green pants is a leprechaun.

Inside Foundation BMX
Here's a little look inside Foundation BMX.

Kelly Temtations
For some reason there has always been a wild place across from the shops we visited. Is that Kelly Bolton?

BMX Track Crewe
The Shanaze Reade BMX Track in Crewe.

Leigh Filming
Kelly took this photo of me filming...

Josh Flair Berm
...Josh doing this flair on the berm of the BMX track. Shortly after landing this,
Stu Thompson appeared from the woods and told Josh that if he ever does a
flair in the same moto as him he was going bite his ear off. Josh said, "Like
Mike Tyson did? How unoriginal." Stu looked at him confused, farted and ran
back into the woods. Semi-true story.

Scott Flair Bowl
This is why I love Scott... before even doing a normal air in this bowl he flairs it!

Vader
One of the best things about this tour is watching the locals ride and get stuff done. He did this no-handed but I missed it. Sorry.

900
I witnessed a 900 out of this bowl. This is it and it was awesome.

AlphaBMX Shop
AlphaBMX shop. That's the owner Al in the middle. Thanks again for fixing Josh's wheel.

Inside alphaBMX
Look how packed full of BMX goodness it is inside of AlphaBMX.

Kelly Discretions
Man the paparazzi sure does follow Kelly around. Oh wait, that's me. Another wild store.

Park Stoke-On-Trent
The park at Stoke-on-Trent.

Park Crowd
There were a lot of riders on hand to watch the Eastern team. How good is it to see this many kids on bikes?

Kelly Invert
Kelly with a proper invert in the bowl.

Leigh Feeble
Red shoes, red pegs, red rail.  I had to do it. Kelly shot me dong this feeble. My
tire was right on the edge but managed to stay on the whole time.

Josh Locals
Josh chatting it up with the locals.

Eastern Hat Toss
When there's an Eastern hat up for grabs things tend to get real serious real quick. Luckily no one was injured during this toss.

Scott Toss
The whole instigator to the frenzy. Scott throwing out a few of the last stickers.
