Tea Time Tour Day 2

Day two of our England Tour was packed with driving, shop stops and riding. We woke, ate breaky and drove to our first stop Manchester Cycle Exchange. It was a small shop packed with bikes. They definitely knew how to stock the shop. We hung out there for a while and started to get hungry so we went to a local mall for lunch. The mall reminded us of Vegas. The whole place had different themes, from New Orleans to Egypt. Lunch was consumed and off to the next shop for our meet and greet. After a few wrong turns we ended up at Hobson Cycles. Jay the owner is another older rider that has turned his love for the sport into a freindly bike shop stocked full of BMX, Eastern included of course. We hung out at the shop talking with kids and getting ready to go to his local park. At one point we swear Harry Main drove by.

The park today was Rampworx. I've been there years before on a different Eastern tour so I knew the guys were going to love it. This park is big and it was packed full of kids. Most of them were riding bikes! The session started with the box jumps and moved over the the mini spine. Everyone was a little tired but still got a lot done. Northern John was on hand to shoot a few photos for the UK Ride BMX. John is an awesome guy and fun to hang out with. The night ended with Scott trying this crazy big gap. He tried it a good four or five times, once ending up knocking the breath out of himself and the last tweaking his ankle. He says he'll be fine tomorrow. He's a tough one. Now we are at the hotel and ready to rest up for day 3. Check out the schedule below.

Thursday July 8th -   12pm / Foundation BMX / Crewe (shop meet & greet and riding session)
                               3:30pm / Alpha BMX, Stoke On / Trent (shop meet & greet)
                               Evening session at Stoke Plaza Skatepark

I must say that it is so good to see Josh Perry back on his bike and riding so good to say the least. Yeah Josh, let it eat!
