Tea Time Tour Day 7...the end. Posted 1 month, 3 weeks ago So today was the final day of the tour in England. The last stop was in Bristol at Crucial BMX. This is by far the largest BMX store that I have ever been to in England and pretty much anywhere. Scott, Maria and Gary took real good care of us. After hanging out in the shop we headed to an old school concrete park right by the shop. I honestly didn't expect Kelly, Scott or Josh to ride much because they were so sore from the NASS contest. Tea Time Tour Day 6 Posted 1 month, 3 weeks ago Today was the NASS finals. The Goliath ramps started a little after 11am. It was windy and you could tell the riders were feeling it. Kelly Bolton qualified 3rd but had the mindset to either win or go out with a bang. His first jump was his inverted barrel roll that came up short and his second was a 720 that came around but you could tell the wind was messing with him and he didn't pull either. Tea Time Tour Day 5 Posted 1 month, 4 weeks ago Today was qualifying at NASS and the Eastern guys came out swinging. Scott and Kelly both entered the Goliath ramp and qualified 2nd and 3rd. Scott did big flip whips, fronties and a superman seatgrab. Kelly did a nice no-handed flip, then had trouble on an invert barrel roll but nailed it on the third go. They only count two of the three jumps so you will see those two in the finals. In street Josh and Kelly entered and both rode really well. We left before they announced who made it in. Tea Time Tour Day 4 Posted 1 month, 4 weeks ago Today is the start of NASS, an action sports and music festival. After a three hour drive we got to the venue, introduced the guys to Rob and Andy from Split Second Distro and missed the first practice of street but Kelly and Scott headed on over to the Mini-Mega ramp. They call it the Goliath ramp which makes sense since it's a pretty big ramp. Everyone was making the jump easily but the quarter was slightly over vert and that can make for some tricky airs. Tea Time Tour Day 3 Posted 2 months ago Today everyone woke after a good nights sleep a little sore but ready to see what awaits at the shops and parks that we were going to today. First stop was Foundation BMX in Crewe. The owner Mike greated us and brought us into his shop. It's been around barely a year and has a good following so far. This BMX only shop had a good deal of what the kids want. After talking with the locals and eating some pizza everyone went to the local BMX Track and skatepark. Tea Time Tour Day 2 Posted 2 months ago Day two of our England Tour was packed with driving, shop stops and riding. We woke, ate breaky and drove to our first stop Manchester Cycle Exchange. It was a small shop packed with bikes. They definitely knew how to stock the shop. We hung out there for a while and started to get hungry so we went to a local mall for lunch. The mall reminded us of Vegas. The whole place had different themes, from New Orleans to Egypt. Lunch was consumed and off to the next shop for our meet and greet. After a few wrong turns ... |

Tea Time Tour Day 1 Posted 2 months ago Scott Hamlin and I woke at 5am this morning to drive to London, Heathrow to pick up Kelly Bolton and Josh Perry. It was suppose to be a two hour trek but turned into three because of traffic. But that was fine by me as it gave me a chance to learn a bit more about Scott since this was the first time that I have met him.
