Florida Trip FinaleMike Andrews, Karl Poynter and Leigh Ramsdell in Orlando... |
Today was the final day of the trip. It was great to see Chad's new shop. Even though Mesh is gone Mr. Bikes-N-Boards is still around to keep the scene going. We rode a bunch of spots and spread the Eastern word around Florida. Make sure to stay tuned for a web video. It was a great time and real nice to get away from some bad weather. Thanks to everyone who we rode with.

If you are feeling down just stop by Mr. B-N-B and Chad will be kind enough to offer his counseling
service. He also specializes in helping you over come buyers remorse.

Karl was still out wrestling gators. This is his bike. Yup.

No matter where we went everyone was stoked to see Mike Andrews.

Dave Brumlow let us in the Funplex. Turndown on the mini.
The Grand opening of Mr. Bikes and Board was great. Chad had some things to ride, a wrestler greating/yelling at people, hot dogs and ton's of give-aways. A fantastic time for sure. We also had a good time ourselves. The guys from Cassleberry Trails have a band called Gut Ruckus and it was a show that I will remember for some time now. The rain had cleared and that let us hit up places we couldn't before. Some street was had, Stone Edge got revisited and we even went to the Orlando Skate Park. There are a few more days left and you will see a web edit dropping very soon.

Mr. Bikes and Boards grand opening had kids checking out the hot Eastern goods.

And outside there was plenty of fun and bikes going on.

Mr. Bikes and Boards number one, James. Steve Austin has a vacation home in his beard.

If you get a chance to see Gut Ruckus, go!

Karl was lurking in the swamp nearby and...

...this gator got him.
Part One
Chad Degroot's new shop Mr. Bike's -N- Boards is having a grand opening this Saturday. The legend Mike Andrews lives in the area so Karl and I decided to visit him and check out the grand opening. Yesterday we went to the Casselberry trails. Good times and even better people running the place. Then we went out and checked out SwampLord, A great local metal band with guys that ride in it. They need to come out with an album soon. Today we headed to Daytona to ride a new concrete park there. It was an unusual set up that was refreshing to ride. After that session we attempted to hit up Stone Edge but the rain had different ideas and ruined that parade. Oh well that just gave us time to go to Mr. Bikes to see the shop that happened to be stocked full of Easterns. Yup, you know it's a good shop now, haha. We will be hanging out tomorrow for the Grand Opening so come on by. Say hi to James and tell him Steve Austin sent ya. Here are a few photos from the past few days. More to come...

It's not everyday you see Karl on Trails.

Run on down to Mr. Bike and Boards and get your Easterns now before they are all gone.

Steve Austin patrols the store on a regular basis. Karl thinking twice about taking anything.
