Mega Tour Day 2

We finished up the second day of the Mega Tour. The weather today has been absolutley amazing. Oh, wait, before I talk about today I should mention that we rode a new indoor park last night in St. Charles called Circus that Jeff Harrington told us about. Dave and Chris are the owners and hooked it up. The locals there were awesome and did some nutty stunts that you will have to wait for the video to come out. After riding we finally made it back to the hotel exhausted and ready for some sleep.

The next day we woke rested and headed to downtown Chicago. Wilson Skate park was the first stop. This concrete park consisted of a street area, an old school pool, and a big bowl with lots of hips. There were 12 year olds cussing like sailors and a few kids on WalMart Mountain bikes jumping out of the bowl. Admist the chaos everyone got clips clocked. Right when the session was winding down a Hummer Limo with Melrose Place graphics pulled up and a few ladies and some dude got out of it and gave everyone popsicles. I really don't think 14 year old skate kids are going to watch that show.

After the park session we grabbed a bite to eat and then went to a spot that Porter showed us and Phil got a flat pretty quick so we moved on. Kevin told us about a skate plaza and that was the last spot before everyone was spent. Now day two is over and we are resting up for some good street tomorrow. Check back and here are a few photos...
