Inside/Out - Philly Day 3

Day three of three. Maybe we will get to ride street at least a little bit today? I won’t get my hopes up. We met up with Wiz again and Leigh sat on his lap in the car, which was cute. It wasn’t raining, but it was cold. So cold that a simple bunnyhop felt like manual labor. We endured the elements and ended up riding some ridiculous spots. First stop was a cobblestone box jump that Wiz took care of. Right across the street, Kelly and myself hopped a fence and rode an incredible pool. Had I not slammed the ground nice and hard, I would have enjoyed myself a lot more. A few hoodrats laughed at me for a while, so at least something positive came out of it. Do you see any sort of pattern forming in these updates? I’m not good at bikes. I cried for a little while but the pool was still awesome. The rest of the squad tried to hop the fence as well but a lazy policeman told them they weren’t allowed to because Kelly and I are A LOT more attractive than them. We pedaled on through the Philly slums utilizing whatever sunlight we had left. Spots were abundant and tricks were getting tricked. Wiz was an excellent tour guide and he made everyone feel pretty dumb at his local spots because he left them in piles of rubble. Everyone was cold and wind burnt, and Manglervision™ was not apt for the looming darkness so we stopped riding. Wiz sponsored us with more pizza, which makes about 13 consecutive pizza meals. The trip as good as over now, and we’re all going our separate ways soon, way too soon. Philly is too sweet for barely a whole day of riding but we made do. At least we have an excuse to come back, pronto.
